About the Hospitality Management Degree
Description
To enter the hotel/motel industry at mid-management or supervisory levels, you will attain the required skills and experience employers seek. Although this is a day program, selected courses are scheduled for evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.
You will be prepared for employment in a vital segment of the nation’s economy.
You can earn the Foundations of Lodging and Hospitality Management technical diploma on the way to completing this associate degree.
Additional program details: Students are to be actively involved in the hospitality industry on a part-time basis while attending MATC. Completing an internship in the course HOTEL-130 is required.
Important skills and aptitudes include a service orientation, willingness to learn, and stamina to work long hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
