About the Appliance Technician Diploma

Description
Classes are held at the MATC Education Center at Walker’s Square, 816 West National Avenue, Milwaukee.
As household electrical appliances become more complex, a greater degree of knowledge is required to service them. This program combines coursework with hands-on lab experience.
Trained appliance service technicians are in demand.
This program features exploratory courses that count toward a credential. Contact an MATC advisor for information.
Additional program details: Appliance technicians install, service and repair automatic washers, dryers, ranges, refrigerators, dishwashers and other major appliances. They also write job orders, complete reports or billing, and maintain records for parts inventories, future service calls and quality control purposes.
